1. What we collect

The video link you paste, so we can convert it, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself) to count conversions per day and stop abuse. We do not use accounts, ads, analytics or tracking cookies.

2. How we use it

Only to run the converter: to process your request, enforce the daily limit and keep the service safe.

3. How long we keep it

A converted file is deleted from our servers within 30 minutes of your download. Files that are never downloaded are deleted automatically within 2 days, and download links stop working after 25 minutes. Daily limit counters reset every day at midnight UTC. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs for a short time for security.

4. Cookies and browser storage

okmp3 sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.

5. Who we share it with

No one, except the hosting and storage providers that run the service, under their data processing terms. When you click Get the transcript or Convert to another format, the file you converted is passed to that site (ConvertAudioToText or ConvertIntoMP4, run by the same team) so it starts from your file instead of converting the video again.

6. Your rights

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
